Sandra Rosenberg has been teaching Communication courses at Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) since January 1991. She first taught in the Continuing Education Division, becoming a full-time instructor in September of that same year.

As a Ph. D. candidate in the English Department at McGill University, then an English-as-a-Second Language (ESL) instructor at Concordia University, both in Montreal, Sandra trained foreign business executives in the private sector and tutored graduate students through the McGill Tutorial Services

Sandra has taught a wide selection of the written and oral communication courses offered at TMU both during the day and at night. In addition, she has enjoyed administrative responsibilities as a course coordinator; and served on committees such as the Curriculum Committee, Acquisitions, Awards and Appeals and several CE certificate steering committees. Her research and creative activities include course development, including alternate delivery formats and textbook review.

Sandra’s commitment to teaching excellence in The Creative School was recognized with the TMU GREET (Group to Renew and Enhance Effective Teaching) Award in 2001.

In 2002, Sandra was appointed CE Coordinator for the Professional Communication Department.
