Kevin joined Ryerson University in 2016 and teaches in the School of Professional Communication within the Faculty of Communication and Design as well as the Department of Psychology within the Faculty of Arts. Prior to this appointment, Kevin was a faculty member at the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management where he taught Organizational Behaviour and Human Resources Management.
Kevin obtained his Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Waterloo. His primary research examines the motivational impact of leaders’ communication of visions for organizational change as well as problem-solving strategies and interpersonal communication for effective teamwork. In addition to his research, Kevin has managed and facilitated leadership development programs for Master’s students at the University of Waterloo and Wilfrid Laurier University. As an Industrial/Organizational Psychology practitioner, Kevin is a Managing Consultant at Propel Research Group, a consulting firm with practices in employee selection, organizational culture management, and leadership development.
