Kathy Voltan BA, BEd, MA

Kathy Voltan began teaching postsecondary in 1992 for Sheridan College, delivering courses in Business Communication, Technical Writing, English Literature, as well as General Education. Involved in curriculum design as well, she designed and developed a number of courses while at Sheridan: Villains in Literature and Film; Portfolio Writing; Introduction to Humanities. From 1995-97 she also delivered writing courses for Centennial College in essay and business writing. She joined Toronto Metropolitan University faculty in 2002 and presently teaches a range of courses for the School of Professional Communication and the Chang School.

A Sessional Lecturer at Woodsworth College, University of Toronto, she teaches for the Academic Bridging Program and serves as a Writing Instructor in the Academic Writing Centre. She has also taught in the Writing and Rhetoric Program at Innis College, University of Toronto and is presently a lead instructor for a Writing and Rhetoric initiative at Rotman School of Business.
