Monday, October 5, 2015 | 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM | Rogers Communication Centre (RCC) 370
This official launch event introduces researchers to the Centre for Communicating Knowledge (CCK) at the School of Professional Communication and the Faculty of Communication and Design (FCAD).
The CCK is a new research and production centre that reconceptualizes knowledge mobilization (KMb) as active collaboration, and adopts a faculty-student and student-student mentorship approach for disseminating knowledge. Researchers are invited to explore the range of CCK's creative projects by navigating through a gallery of recent work. Attendees can also learn more about the CCK experience by interacting with CCK students and clients.

Knowledge mobilization supports research impact
What is research impact and why should you care? Do you want your research to have an impact on society outside of the academy and is this even your job? How do you craft knowledge mobilization strategies in your grant applications? Knowledge mobilization can help broaden the reach of your research by connecting you to research partners and organizations that can help maximize the impacts of your research.
